I know I haven’t been putting as much on here as I really wanted to, but I’ve been busy at home with quite a few things and also waiting for some deals to work out with some manufacturers.
First off I’m expecting my package from Maxpedition in tomorrow (Thursday, May 17th). They’ve been kind enough to supply me with a Maxpedition Condor II backpack / hydration carrier and a Maxpedition Fatboy. I’m really excited and just want to say,”Thanks Maxpedition for tossing that my way”. I’ll have the full review of the Fatboy on here by Saturday I hope.
Monday my hydration bladder will be here from LA Police Gear. I bought the Blackhawk Hydration Reservoir for two reasons. One, no one had anything much to say about it, and two… everyone talks about CamelBak. Now I’ve got nothing against CamelBak in the least… I just wanted to check out the other options. My brother-in-law has a Camelbak and he’s nary had a problem. Hopefully I’m delighted by the product, but we’ll find out next week when I torture test this in the Maxpedition Condor II backpack.
Next week I’m also expecting a new sniper rifle and scope to arrive at my door, courtesy of Airsplat. This is my first time ever dealing with them, and things seem great. I can’t wait to try out the new rifle and scope and I’ll fill you all in on the gory details as soon as I can!
Madbull, I haven’t forgotten about you. I’ve got in my possession two Madbull Shark Hop Up rubbers, and their new piston. I just got in a new gearbox to test these things in, but I’ve had a set back. The gearbox is a UTG with stock internals. That means a non standard piston head. So I don’t have a piston head to try out on this new piston! Arghhh…. Well if someone is willing to throw me a new piston head to try out, I’d gladly give you the attention you deserve here, and I’ll of course review the piston head and post a full write up on here.
So, I promise coming soon:
- Maxpedition Fatboy Review
- Maxpedition Condor II Review
- Sniper Rifle from Airsplat
- Madbull Shark Hop Up
- Madbull Piston (if I can get a hold of a new piston head)
So hang in there just a few more days. Oh, and any day now I should have my KWA USP .45 back from Eddie. Come on UPS… get a move on!
